August 22, 200520 yr Today, FS9 has been starting flights with the autopilot, flight director, and altitude hold engaged.I'm sure That I have most likely done somethig, as I have been installing scenery and repeating a short flight to see the changes made from default, added mesh, added scenery, etc.I've deleted all of my saved flights, but that hasn't seemed to help. It occurs with all aircraft and even if I create a different flight (new aircraft, location, weather, date/time).I'm not sure what has happened, but would someone help me get this to to start with the auto pilot off, please? Thanks,Kent
August 23, 200520 yr You probably saved your default flight in that configuration. To fix it:Start the sim and put the parking brake on - you don't want to be rolling down the runway while you adjust things.Turn off the autopilot, FD, etc.Save the flight then make it your default flight.
August 23, 200520 yr Jim,Thank you, that seems to have been the problem. I thought I had resaved the flight with the autopilot turned off, but maybe not. Then again, maybe having the parking brake set is the key. Anyway, things seem to back to working order now. Thanks agian,Kent
