August 8, 200916 yr HiI have just downloaded the MD-11 for FSX. I have saved it ( 158.7 MB ) and tried to access it. Default seemed to be Word - just came up a junk text. Then I tried Adobe which said that it couldn't be decoded properly.Does anyone have any explanation. I would be most grateful for any help.

You might want to redownload the file.The MD11 comes in a compressed file archive format, called ZIP (explanation here). It needs to be uncompressed into a folder on your computer in order to be accessed. There are several programs out there to uncompress ZIP files,but I recommend the excellent (and free) 7-zip (get it here.)When you are done there should be an executable (.exe) file in the folder you chose beforehand.If this was not the problem, I have no idea how to help you at this time.Second, take a look at the forum rules which are posted at the top.
