Wilco A320 help please

Featured Replies

Hey guys.. first of all im new to repainting. I decided to try and repaint my A320 and A321 for my VA a few days ago.I tried repainting the default FSX aircraft just to learn the steps involved etc. Using photoshop cs3 and dxtbmp I had no trouble repainting the default A321. So I figured I'd move on and start repainting my payware aircraft.I've been trying for 3 days now and I just cannot seem to figure it out. Again I'm new so my knowledge isn't all that much. Doing everything the same as before with the default aircraft I'm having a problem with these. The pictures below describe my problem better than I could put in words. Basically I can see that it isn't lining up but other than that I have no clue what is going on. For this posts sake I just quickly slapped on some blue 'paint' to show you my problem. I am using the Wilco paint kit off their site. I have seen a few custom repaints for the Wilco A32x family so I must be doing something wrong. Please if somebody knows whats wrong or has some advice or ideas I would really appreciate it.Many Thanks

Just flip your texture its upside-down on tthe plane now. When converting a dds file to a dxt you need to flip the texture.DDS textures always show upside-down.Probably the paintkit shows the model in normal position.Leen

that was simple enough ... thank you sir!
