August 14, 200916 yr I have a multi PC cockpit built with seven ninteen inch monitors (and computers) for 180 degree view and one computer with two 19 inch LCD exclusively forming the Main instrument panel(MIP). The PCs are networked and use WidevieW software. Presently I only fly default aircrafts of MSFS 2004. I have a query specific to the Main Instrument Panel before I buy the PMDG 737 /747. In order to make myself clear I will mention the existing arrangement with MSFS MIP panel and compare the same with PMDG aircraft MIP panel. For the purpose of forming the Main Instrument Panel with MSFS aircraft, I undock the main instrument panel resize and stretch it to fill the two 19 inch TFT. This is perfectly possible with only those MSFS default aircraft (eg learjet, cessna and two of the Boeing models) which do not have the front window 'frame' integrated with the panel. The other MSFS aircrafts (like piper and one of the Boeing models) cannot be configured in my setup as in them the 'frame' for the outside view window is an integral part of the main panel, therefore, shows on the MIP LCD when the panel is undocked and stretched. This is obviously not acceptable in my type of setup although it is a much needed feature for flying on a laptop or single screen setup. Now the query:- I want to buy a PMDG 737 or 747 and fly in my existing setup. The issue is that I am told that the PMDG aircraft instrument 2D panel also have those 'window frames' integrated with the panel like in the piper aircraft of MSFS. I desperately need the PMDG 747 / 737 aircraft but I want the instrument panel without the frame structures so that I can UNDOCK the instruent panel / instruments, RESIZE them make a clean MIPCan somone at PMDG or the experienced users help me out so with a solution. August 18, 200916 yr Helll PMDG team,I am sure PMDG has the solution since they designed the panels. I am simply looking for a instrument panel of 744 without those outside view structure so that I can form a stand alone Main Instrument PanelRegards,Dinesh I have a multi PC cockpit built with seven ninteen inch monitors (and computers) for 180 degree view and one computer with two 19 inch LCD exclusively forming the Main instrument panel(MIP).
