Can I upgrade?

I recently purchased a new HP Quadcore 8200 processor at 2.3/core & 8 g ram with a GeForce 9500GS 512 mb card. FX runs really well with very few stutters with most sliders at 1/2 to 3/4. I know the video card that came with the machine is not the greatest and I'd like to push the sliders further for the eye candy. I have no desire to overclock anything which I understand I can't do with an OEM anyway and I don't want to have to change the 350W power supply as the computer is really great and used for a lot of things other than FX. So any recommendations for a card under $200? Thanks in advance. I,m using Vista Home Premium 64.

Hi Jim,Quite honestly with a power supply of only 350W you don't have alot of options, I really, really sugesst a better power supply, right now I have one of 750W. If you do get a better one the Nvidia 250 is around 199$ and it' very good.

Jim, I suggest you check the available PCI-e power 6 pin connectors. If you PSU has none, it likely can't handle the load of a "real" graphics card. If it does, however, you should then check the capability of the PSU's +12V rail(s). If it is at least 30A then you can run a 9800 GT which would be a significant step up from your current card. If not, you need to get a new PSU to run any card that is worthwhile. Your $200 budget is enough to accommodate a new PSU and graphics card, actually so I don't think you'll have anything to worry about here.
