Repaint Issue!

I have successfully repainted a 777-300ER by using a Project Opensky repaint kit and have it running in FSX. But every time I select it it crashes. What is the problem? How do I fix it?Thanks

??? Have it running and crashing every time when seleted. How can you have it running without selecting it first??What do you mean with crashing?Do you mean, the plane shows correctly in FSRepaint after implementing in FSX , but the sim crashes when you actually select the plane in FSX?Leen de Jager

Yeah. It is running fine until I select the plane that I repainted.

HiIs the model of the aircraft for FSX :( www.jeteasy.webs.com

Yeah. It is running fine until I select the plane that I repainted.
It is possible one of your texturefiles has been resaved to many times.Resaving a file many times may lead to internal problems in the file. ( I call it File-Fatigue )FSRepaint has no problem handling the plane with the broken texturefile and shows the plane correctly giving the false impression it will work in FS too.Try this.Open all your repainted texturefiles in DXTBmp and use the option SAVE AS instead of save.Doing this DXTBmp creates a new file overwriting the other one. There is a big chance the plane will show up correctly in FS.MIND: Only when it crashes FS and shows correctly in FSRepaint.RegardsLeen de JagerPS I did not figure this out myself , Martin Wright , the maker of DXTBmp , provided me with this information some years ago, when I had a simillair problem with a Posky paint. Most of the time I am only distributing knowledge provided by others.
