August 28, 200916 yr I recently discovered what a great way to fly it is in DX10 mode. Almost a whole new sim. The water, ground scenery, the clouds, the sky and sun, all gets a more realistic look (with bloom on). And above all (i was flying the CS 757), the VC shading! Which added to the feel of really being there. How the sun would gently caress the gauges while turning, truly immersive. And the higher you climb into the blue, the more contrast the lit and shadow parts get. Makes you really want to pull some sun visors down. From now on DX10 preview mode will be my preferred setting for daytime flying (at night there are still some incompatibility's with add-on scenery). And so I hope that the J41 will have this VC shading feature, which unfortunately the MD11 is missing. Or the upcoming NGX?Regards, Gerrit Gerrit
