HelloI've run into some strange behaviour with the in-built real weather in FS9, When I select download real weather updates from Jeppesen it does this okay then presents me with current weather for the weather station close to my airport. Its a H great perfect for flying. So I naturally accept and what do I discover on returning to my cockpit its overcast and pouring with rain, Yet the weather downloaded tells me its a H with clear skies and unlimited visability.???? Got me puzzled.Cheers :( :(

He he solved my own problem again LOL downloaded a programme called FSMetar gets the latest weather for my airport and adjusts my weather accordingly. Would like to get Active Sky sometime soon, but this freeware programme does the trick for now. :( :( :( B)

Remember that the METAR's downloaded from the Net are almost always at least one hour out of date! I don't payany attention at all to the little map that FS9 shows after downloading the real weather. The downloaded weather itself does in fact closely resemble the actual METAR for the said weather station.Vololiberista
