I have tried several times to try and enter a HDG for the J41 to fly till it intercepts the crs to the next wpt...with no luck.Would someone enlighten me please?Thanks,Jerry

Jerry, Are you referring to the HDG mode of the FMS? If so, that's really not used to often in the real world.The easiest thing to do is simply use the FD HDG mode to fly the intercept heading, and arm NAV mode. Once you're within 1 dot of the selected course, the FD should automatically transition to NAV. It works the same whether you're using LNAV, a VOR or a Pseudo-VORTAC.Regards,Nick

Thanks Nick. That's what I do now. I used to fly a J-31 many years ago, but never the -41. This model seems to me to be about perfect, and I am having lots of fun with it.Thanks again...take care,Jerry
