Brand new: The Main river at Frankfurt, Germany now for FS2002

Featured Replies

Hello! As some of you may have noticed, Microsoft just missed to include the Main river, one of the larger german rivers which goes strait through Frankfurt to the Rhein in Flight Simulator 2002. Now Rainer Duda from the "Germany VFR" team has released a scenery addon which adds the Main river and the major lakes along it as freeware. With this addon you will find it much easier to conduct your approaches to EDDF under visual conditions.Get the Main river here:http://www.vfr-germany.de/sg1/main.html The site is in german language, but the download link is easy to locate.Yours,Martin Georg/EDDFVACC-SAG PR & Events Coordinator *** mailto:[email protected]http://images.vacc-sag.org/convention6.jpg

Thanks for the link Martin

Wonderful! The default representation of the medium sized German rivers in FS2002 is very disappoiting. First they enhance the rivers in their commercial VFR Scenery Germany 1, which is great for me because I happen to live very close to the location where the Saar joins the Mosel. And now the Main, which makes flying into EDDF a lot more believable. A big thank you from me to Rainer Duda!VOlker :]
