ASA Flight Plan Selection

Featured Replies

Not sure if this has cropped up before, couldn't find anything in a search.I am using ASA build 433, is there any way, when I select FSX mode it looks in Documents\Flight Simulator X Files for flight plans and when I select FS9 mode it looks in Documents\Flight Simulator files. The reason I ask this is because after downloading PMDG's new JS41, I have started using FSX for IFR flights. I have had to create two versions of FSBuild one for FS9 and one for FSX and they both send the created flight plans to either the FS9 folder in Documents or the FSX folder. When I select ASA in FSX mode and import a flight plan in the 'Briefing' page it looks in the Documents\FS9 flight plan folder. I am aware I can change this to look into any folder I choose but it means doing this each time I use ASA in FS9 mode or FSX.Glen

Hi,The two paths are different and AS should be using the two different folders depending on what version of FS you are using. Switching the version in ASA should switch the path to the correct one.

Hi JimI new it had to be easy.I have changed the FSX mode to read the FSX flight plan folder and its remembered it, so now when I open ASA in FSX or FS9 they both read there own FS flight plan folders. I should have tried that before posting :( Glen
