October 12, 200916 yr Author HiSorry been some time getting back to this topic, but I still seem to have this issue of the Aircraft Yawing on Takeoff and landing. I use Rex to generate Textures, then use ASA over a network to generate real world weather, I have FSPUIC but dont really use much of the weather features in there, mainly use it for configuring my controls. I have mapped the rudders and brakes to FSX rather than FSPUIC to get around the problem of being able to disconnect parking brakes with toe brakes. I have PMDG 747, MD11, LEvelD767 and non of these aircraft suffer the same probelm of yawing on landing or takeoff. The JS41 is fine controlling at taxi speed/power. But Taking off, appling power as the aircraft begins to accelerate I find I need to apply rudder, which I expect to do obvioulsy if some cross wind, but the amount becomes quite excessive to keep the aircraft straight, but it isnt a uniform amount, It becomes less or more as I continue to roll, and thus find Im chasing the amount of rudder to keep the aircraft straight. I have tried various settings for my Saitek Throttle Quad, I have two of them, I've tried it with mapping a lever to each engine, and also just using one lever to control power. I map te throttles to be fed throught FSPUIC (rather than the optiion in FSPUIC to send to a FS direct control) and I have calibrated these AXIS in FSPUIC. As i say if i fly any of my other addon a/c with the same settings etc and weather I dont get this excessive Yaw on the ground. Once Airbourne in the JS41 I can fly it fine, I can do perfect manual landings in it, smack on the centreline at touchdown, but then the yaw will kick in, it is worse however on takeoff.Any ideas, or suggestions on how others setup their controls using FSPUIC.RegardsJames Regards James Carr
