mesh complexity and resolution? according to text both seem to set the detail of elevation data to be loaded. but how differently do they affect geo features? keeping mesh complexity to max any mesh resolution higher than 76m causing stutters. what combination setting of the two should be good in both detail and fps?

Hi there,see http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...omplexity\In FS8 and FS9 a 100% mesh complexity setting could cause stutters and 95% was recommended but I haven't heard or experienced the same with FSX. Visually, there's basically no difference from about 70% up (you can check for yourself with comparison screenshots taken from the exact same position) so if a setting lower than 70% works better for you go for it.Cheers, Holger
