September 22, 200916 yr After watching some "extreme sidewind" videos on Youtube, I'm starting to ask which type of flight dynamics model reflects the reality closer. I've taken two planes which I consider to behave very differently when flown by hand: The LDS-767 and Captainsim's 757 Pro. The former is, for my taste, one of the best hand flyable airliners, it reacts exactly and has great stability. The CLS model is quite the opposite: I constantly need to push/pull/turn my yoke to keep the plane on path, it has a remarkable tendency to slip sideways, and all in all to me it feels kind of extremely unstable and I have a hard time to land the aircraft by hand especially in windy situations, where I bet my landings aren't far from the Youtube videos I mentioned above. So, I consider such a flight dynamics model as extremely bad. By judging this way, for me, there's only a handful (if at all) of airliners which are a pleasure to handfly in FSX.But this is only my personal opinion, I now like to better understand which of the two flight dynamics models are closer to what exists in real world, so I ask owners of both planes and real world pilots to give me some enlightenment!Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales.
