Catering Trucks Have No Textures (Posky 744v4)

Featured Replies

I have the v4 model of the 744. I have the posky util installed correctly, and all the animations work and show up, but the catering trucks and airstairs have no textures. My posky 777's work great.I just need to know the filenames for the catering trucks textures files. I downloaded the painkit but still no catering trucks. My pushback tug doesn't show up at all either... :(

HelloSimple thing:Download DXTbmphttp://fly.to/mwgfxhttp://www.btinternet.com/~mnwright/cfsutils.htmWith this texture editor you can visualise the textures of the ACIf you don't see the ground vehicles textures .. etc .. it's like the specific plane you use don't have the textures for the utillity ground vehicles .. etc..Download a other plane (texture for your 747) .. many have the utility stuff in.Open with the editor for know the files names and just copy paste the textures you need in your actual 747.Hope it's help.Regards.bye.gifGus.

Thanks. That's what I did. I downloaded 5 different liveries direct from Posky's site. Only one of them, the OneWorld Qantas, had the missing catering and stair truck textures. Their filenames are "Os_ct_t.bmp, Os_ct2_t.bmp, Os_st_t.bmp, Os_st2_t.bmp, etc, with ct files referring to the catering trucks and st referring to the stair trucks. The OneWorld Qantas repaint did not have textures for the third catering truck at the very back of the plane. I took the texture for the second catering truck, "ct2", copied and renamed it "...ct3..." and the third catering truck showed up.Apparently, Posky has left these textures out of most of the 744v4 repaints, but they are easily copied into any repaint you may have.

Can someone tell me what to do to get ground animation to work? The cargo loaders show but not the caters. Help please.Sean Averre

Hello,

Can someone tell me what to do to get ground animation to work?
The best thing to do is to read the readme ! :( All explainations for the specials actions and commands are there. You must have in the panel folder a subfolder named Posky Utility ... (AFAIK)Of course if you don't have the appropriate textures you will see nothing. If I remember well it's a command for make appears a simicons group on the head panel for command those actions.Regards.bye.gif

Can you explain that in more details please?

Hello,This is the Posky explaination about " how install the Posky utility " ..

For installing the Posky Utility panel manuallyOf course number used in under depends on the panel you use.So please do at your risk.1.Open the panel.cfg and2.Add under in [Window Titles] sectionwindow08=Posky Utility3.Add under the end of [Window07] section[Window08]VISIBLE=0position=2size_mm=204,80child_3d=0background_color=0,0,0ident=Posky Utilitygauge00=Pky_Util!Pky_Init, 0, 0gauge01=Pky_Util!Pky_Timer, 0, 0gauge02=Pky_util!Pky_Util, 0, 0
So .. if you have it installed .. you can hit SHIFT + 9 and the popup on the overhead panel will appears.Regards.bye.gifGus.
