I have a Zire 71 and Palm IIIxe. I mainly use the Palm IIIxe for personal use and at work as a Paramedic. I do use it during simming with a timer program called "Big Clock". I start the timer when I pushback and stop it upon gate arrival to have an accurate time for logging VA hours. There is another great program out there (for a fee) called "Airport Insight". This is available at www.palmgear.com. This app is an airport database with info about the airport, frequencies and a graphic of runway layout. It comes in very handy when I need to check a frequency or see the runway layout while I'm enroute. Your just simply enter the ICAO code in the search. This is a really great reference tool designed for real-world use. There are a bunch of other aviation related Palm OS applications available. You can find them at www.palmgear.com and www.palmblvd.com. Larry :-)

Well, I really don't have a PDA, but I like to think that I do LOL :). I use something I know how to use and program...a TI-83 Plus :). I made quite a few programs to help with simming (such as a ascent/descent calculator, distance estimator, etc). And while I am crusing, a quick game of Breakout or Tetris makes it a bit more enjoyable :) .Although a TI-83 Plus is really not as powerful as a PDA or PocketPC, with a simple program or two, it will get the job done LOL.

:-lol I had a couple of programs on my Casio CFX-9850GB before I got this PDA :)
