September 25, 200916 yr I've been installing some freeware airports in California and have been running into issues with the AI flight plans included with them. Some of the aircraft that are in the flight plans are flyable aircraft. So the question of the hour is at what point a flyable aircraft is really suitable for AI use? I mean, what's the cutoff point...By the way, I know I can easily substitute other aircraft for the ones requested but I always like to look at a scenery from the artist's perspective if possible.Mark
September 25, 200916 yr Hi,Basically you can use each and every aircraft in your library as AI aircraft, but you don't want to do so.The 'real' AI aircraft are heavily optimized regarding framerates (less polygons, less detailed, etc)Imaging what would happen with your framerates if at EHAM for example you have loaded 5-10 PMDG 747-400 as AI aircraft...
