Joystick doesnt work after PSS install

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,Just reinstalled the PSS 777 and it seems to have made my joystick ineffective, though all the buttons work apart from the axis' for the flight controls, and the throttle. things like the POV hat, trim button etc work fine.I've tried generating a new fresh fs9.cfg, but nothing. It's configured properly in the Windows Control Panel, any ideas?Henry :)

I guess you have your axes installed via FSUIPC. Probably has something to do with the FSUIPC. PSS installers install an old version of FSUIPC. Check that.

Thanks for the reply Word Not Allowed, just checked and FSUIPC 3.93 still seems in place. Any other ideas?I had to buy the DVD version of it, then installed the service packs as I couldn't re-download the 777 as obviously the servers arent there any more.Henry

Well, important question is, where do you have your axes configured - through FSUIPC or in FS Assignments? You have to check both. Also check if it's working in Controllers in Control Panel (you said you already did...). Other than that, no idea really...
