October 9, 200916 yr Being new to HiFi, I've apparently messed with too many settings in ASA because there is no longer any control over (or more correctly the ability to reduce) the upper visibility. Also the barometer seems to be at 29.92 on the runway -- I mean it could be, but usually it's different? yes? The main issue is that I'm trying to LIMIT upper visibility, since having Cloud Draw Distance (CDD) in FSX set to 60 or 70 mi, the clouds abruptly STOP at that range, leaving empty air beyond. So how can one reset all of ASA settings, and then proceed to limit upper VISIBILITY to something like 40 mi, thereby REDUCING the downloaded VIS? This is what I refer to as `visibility mitigation
October 9, 200916 yr Hi,To reset ASA you would need to uninstall, manually uninstall the two ASA folders left behind, search the Windows Registry for the ASA entries, and then re-install ASA. The folders left behind are in your ASA install path and in Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\HiFi\ASA.To set upper visibility to 40 miles you use the Maximum Upper Visibility slider on the Options/Visibility Options screen in ASA and you click on the Save and Apply icon. Thanks,

I'd guess there is no `Reset to Default
