October 10, 200916 yr Hello,This is the first time I have ever posted on an issue in FSX. Most of the time I have been able to find the solution through the search engine but I seem to come up empty when I look for a resolution to this problem.Let me first say originally I bought and downloaded the windows vista version, then had to get the windows xp version ( I use XP). However, the download goes fine, the aircraft show and there is even sound when you start up free flight. The problem is none of the gagues show anything, they are visible, just not working. The glass portions are blank, but they are visible. In addition to this, the over head panel and every other panel that has working switches on them will not work. I have read and understand that the vista version does not work in xp and visa versa. Is there something I am missing? I have it set to start in the 2d panel view, engines running. I don't know what else to do here. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tim
October 10, 200916 yr Have you tried starting with a default plane like the 172, getting everything set the way you want it , saving it, then switching to the 737?
October 10, 200916 yr You probably have to re-install the 737 PIC software so that the licensing is updated for your O/S changes. It seems odd that the software would be different for XP or Vista and in most cases, if you make a significant hardware or operating system change, the licensing is thrown off and thus disables the functionality. Have you tried to contact the developers?Etienne

I then got the correct version for XP but I still have the same problems. Also I tried starting free flight with a default aircraft then switching to the 737-500 still same result.

I have also uninstalled the Windows Vista version and then installed the Windows XP version, still no dice. I have searched the forums you have linked and none of the suggestions or fixes have worked. I have the Wilco/Feelthere Delux Airbus and have no problems with that aircraft. It works great and is as close to operating the real aircraft as you can get on FSX. Thats why this is so troublesome, its hard to believe two different products from the same developer would have vastly different results.
