October 18, 200916 yr I ask this question because it is related to my flight. I use Concorde to flight EGLL-KJFK and return trip in FS2004 for about 2 years, Concorde is very sensitivity to the temperature and have a restriction of max operation temperature (TMO). I have to pay attention to the OAT during the flight. From my usage of Active sky Series(AS6.5 and ASA. ASX for FSX), I think the temperature is modeled by "decreased with altitude". At the beginning of this year I change my FS9 AS version from 6.5 to ASA, then the high reading of temperature happened since then. I took a reading about Earth's atmosphere on Wiki, so I think for most of the flight, we should have the a decrease reading of temperature as altitude increase. Take a look at screen shot below. As you can see, the OAT is -52 degree at FL560, while ASA give the temperature is -58 at FL490. Not just this FL, when the plane start descent initially at FL580, The OAT reading at that time is -49. So can the developers give me an answer of my question. Also, at the latitude between 41N-51N, where Concorde usually cruise(Between FL500-FL600), what's the trend of temperature change should I be expect? Decrease of increase? Is it stratosphere or troposphere? Thanks and regardsYufeng Regards Yufeng Faster than the sun, higher than the heaven. Concorde, thanks for your supersonic years...
October 18, 200916 yr Hi,Your screen shot did not show up so I cannot comment on that. Not the developer, but I can say that we modeled the upper temperatures the same as with ASv6.5.It is stratosphere so temps are going to rise with altitude. Thanks,

October 20, 200916 yr Hi,OK you are at 56K the temp is -52 which is warmer than -58 and temps rise as you climb. Everything looks fine. What are your thoughts?
