Active Sky X problem!

Hi all, I've been using ASX for a long time now, over 1 year. However i recently reformatted my system and ASX won't work anymore! Everytime i start ASX, i get an error message saying "FSX station files must be modified. Please close FSX first and press OK to continue". So I can only start ASX before i start FSX. At first i thought it doesn't matter anyway..However as time moves on, i realized that ASX is not updating my weather like it's supposed to be. It will say "ASX is connected!" first, and then "ASX is updating the weather depiction"or something like that, at this stage, my weather do update. However, then at last, when it displays "Weather depiction update complete!" Or something similar to that, all of my weather roll back to default! And it won't change if i move to another area. However when i shut down ASX, my weather will update to the weather condition that's in ASX before i closed it. So it's not updating when it's on, and only update once at the time when i turn it off...what's wrong with this? I have tried reinstalling FSUPIC and ASX and FSX, but none of them seem to workStraight%20Face.gif...it's just not working for some random weird reason...any idea on why is this happening? I have attached the message below, thanks for helping!!BTW:i am using SP4

Hi,Your sig says you are using Vista home premium or are you dual booting? Is FSX running at the time of this error? You always start AS first, then FSX.It is not an installation issue, but a security issue where ASX cannot access your Application Data folder and read and write to the necessary files. Are you signed in under the Administrator account? Thanks,

i'm dual booting, i'm playing FSX and using this software under my XP OS. Yes my FSX was running..weird cuz i used to always start FSX first then ASX and nothing happens o.OI tried start ASX first, but still it would not update my weather..it's downloading weather data all right, but it's just not putting it into the flight sim. However all the connections are normal..i can see the ASX is connected message on the screen..I am signed under an Administrator account, and this is the only account available on my computer. Do you have any idea on why it cannot access my Application data folder? I have unchecked the read only on the folder, but the system automatically put it back on read only...thank you for your time

I am simply wondering why this isn't being asked in the HIFI support forum?? It stands to reason that is where you should get better support options !!!!
