Win7 - Ultimate Terrain Europe?

Recommended Posts

I installed Win7 yesterday ( had Xp before) and today I am reinstalling software, FS9 and all the addons. But seems to be problem with Ultimate Terrain Europe for me. When I run the texture configurator, make changes and then shut it down, I get a message that says the TextCfg MFC is not working, with two options: 1) close it, or 2) Search for a solution online and close it. And even though the changes remain in the configurator, there is no change in FS9. For example, the street light color doesn't change in FS9.Anyone knows what the problem is?

I actually tried Windows 7 again, and the Texture Configurator first seemd to work. But then the application crash problem came back. But, by installing Ultimate Terrain in Safe Mode and running the Texture Configurator in Safe Mode, makes the application able to copy the choosen textures to FS9. But as soon as I try to do that, by not using Safe Mode, it is not working again. So if you're having problem with the texture configurator in Windows 7, try install and make the changes in Safe Mode. Works for me.
