PMDG 747 Autopilot

Featured Replies

Hi,Not sure where we are with this...We know there is a problem with ASA interferring/disconnecting the PMDG 747 autopilot in fs9.1, correct? Is it on a list of fixes, or is there not yet enough data for the HiFiSim team to go on? What might I do to help this issue, with regards to reports, etc.? Thanks...- daniel

Hi,Where has this been posted before? As far as I know it has not been posted here, though I could be wrong. Right now it is not on any list of fixes. Thanks,

Sorry, might be my mistake. I thought it was tied up with the S-turn and incorrect temp at altitude issue that were causing problems with complex add-ons like PMDG (I have had the temp problems - the 747 will just suddenly fall out of the sky). I never had autopilot disconnect issues with AS6.5, though. Not in literally thousands of flight hours. Am I barking up the wrong tree? I haven't changed anything else in my set-up, as far as I can remember. Are there conflict issues with complex add-ons?

Hi,Make sure you are using B433 for the S-turn issue. You might need to describe the autopilot issue you are having. Thanks,

I'm using B435 - should I go back to B433 or am I okay with this? The autopilot issues I seem to be having are disconnect issues - two flights in a row. Autothrottle on the first, and LNAV on the second. Never had them before, but I was supposing that it might have something to do with either a) rapid weather changes (I have weather smoothing in ASA checked) or :( the flickering panel causing some panel interference. Could I be completely misguided in my surmises, though? Thanks again,- daniel

Hi,Keep B435 installed.See if there are any odd conditions in ASA when this happens for you. Thanks,
