December 2, 200916 yr **Released** Standard Cirrus sailplane v1.0 for X-Plane 9.41+real CirrusThis glider is based loosely on the original X-Plane v8 model. Everything was either redesigned or built from scratch in this model. Features in v1.0:- completely new fuselage built from scratch- new wing models- light-blue tinted transparent canopy- glider parts visible from 3-d cockpit interior view- interior seat and static panel added - landing gear is fully retractable, including gear doors- customized panel with various gauges, inlcuding a custom battery voltage meter- accurate weights and water ballast added- choice of auto-rudder or manual rudder controlThis Cirrus model is very stable and easy to fly. Shouldn't require too much trim to fly level. There are two versions included- one with auto-rudder (for those without rudder pedals), and another with manual rudder control. If you are going to use water ballast, be sure to first push in the yellow ballast release handle on the panel before filling up with water.I have also created a custom digital voltage meter that shows how much charge the battery has left. A fully charged battery shows 24 volts, and should last about 8 hours with avionics turned on. If you actually happen to stay in the air for 7-8 hours, and your battery runs low, you can always shut off your avionics to save juice. Good luck with your ridge lift and thermals! download here
January 8, 201016 yr Hi,it looks nice, and flies nice - as far as I can judge, never been in an airplane without engine yet. The speedbrake-animation seems to be reversed, though. Thanks again, Jan
