December 9, 200916 yr Hi Guys - I have just bought ASA (Build 433).If i select the Enable Direct Wind Control and Smoothing option for FSX, the tool tip says it will also enable Global Weather mode. What is Global Weather mode? Also, what does Disable Winds Aloft mean? Thanks for your help on this. Adrian Burley London, UK
December 10, 200916 yr Hi,Disable Winds Aloft means that all your winds above the surface will be zero.Global Weather Mode means that all the weather stations in FSX will be set to the same weather of your current location. Weather WILL change as necessary as you fly. Thanks,

But i as i fly, the weather will change to reflect real world weather? So i could take off in a thunderstorm and (theoretically) land in clear skies? Also, if reduce ALL wind settings (speed, turbulance, etc), that would mean that i wouldnt need the Winds Aloft / Smoothing options on? (i get problems with the PMDG in winds) Adrian Burley London, UK
