December 9, 200916 yr Hi all - When i start a flight with ASX, i started from an area with a heavy thunderstorm. The problem is that the clouds are not overcast. And when break above the clouds, they are even less dense and i can see the ground from FL310 in a raging thunderstorm. No matter what the weather, i cannot acheive 'total' overcast. Some times if i switch to Spot view, the clouds 'level' to me plane disappear and come back only if i refresh ASX.Can someone please help me? Here are my settings:FSX SP2REX CloudsASX Build 433 (max. cloud layers 7, Fog Layer Gen and Disable Haze layer are on)Windows 7 x64 (running as admin)Thank you for your help. Adrian Burley London, UK
December 10, 200916 yr Hi,Set max cloud layers to 20.Make sure that in FSX Cloud Coverage is set to Maximum.See that ASA is reporting OVC.Keep in mind that the visibility layer in FS will disappear once you are flying above it.Thanks,
