December 12, 200916 yr Hello,I have been using the new LOgitech G940 control system (joystick, pedals and throttle) successfully with all aircrafts in FSX (except the 3-4 engines ones.) However, when using Wilco Airbus series, my throttles have no effect on the aircaft throttles... I have a registered version of fsuipc but I have checked and all is set to 'default' with regards to control so it can't come from it...Could anyone help me...PS : I have also a strange behaviour when using the PMDG747. I assign via FSUIPC for this specific aircrfat throttle 1 to engine 1-2 and throttle 2 to engine 3-4 and at the end throttle 1 controls engine 1-2 BUT throttle 2 controls engine 2-3-4.... Thank s for your help too much, too soon....
December 12, 200916 yr How do you like this product? Is it precise? Is ii easy to trim the aircraft and hold the flight level manually? Best regards from RelaxX
December 12, 200916 yr Do you have the programming software that comes with the G940?If so, it might be conflicting with the default controls along with (possibly?) FSUPIC?Also, the way FSX is designed differs from FS9 in that you can assign the "Throttle" axis -- Meaning the default "all in one" throttle control -- To either a throttle lever, or a slider. On my Saitek AV8R, the right throttle lever is recognized as throttle 1, but I can use throttle 2 and FSX recognizes throttle 2's separate axis as a slider. I have to do this because there is a bug in my throttle 1 lever that keeps thrust at 35% even in the idle position; Throttle 2 has no such error. So, I use throttle 2 (slider) to control all thrust in FSX. Luckily, my CH Yoke does not have this thrust error problem, so everything is business as usual. My point in telling you this is you might mess around with different axis settings and assignments to see if you might be able to "trick" FSX into using a function (slider) it doesn't normally use? Be sure to also go into the SENSITIVITIES screen and make sure the sensitivities are set, so the axis register properly. Some of the rarely used ones (like Prop Pitch) you can assign to other functions are all the way to the right. This means they have a null value and are useless unless you lower it (move it left).
December 13, 200916 yr Author How do you like this product? Is it precise? Is ii easy to trim the aircraft and hold the flight level manually? It's a great product that changes the whole experience...BTW, My issue with Wilco was coming from the registered version of FSUIPC.... reverted back to the free version... what a pity ! too much, too soon....
December 13, 200916 yr I hope you reported the issue. Then this will be corrected in the next version of FSUIPC.Which flight controller did you use before? How precise and easy is it to trim the aircraft with the 3 trim potentiometers located on the stick?Do the pedals not slide on the floor? Best regards from RelaxX
