Triple-Wide Screen Panel Fixes

Featured Replies

Hi all,I use a triplehead2go, and have had issues with 2d panels being stretched, as well as main panel screens refusing to appear and instead causing a 'wait' cursor to come up. I've manually edited the panel files by hand, for every default FSX aircraft, to prevent this from happening. I originally did these panel fixes for just myself, but have found that it's also been useful to a number of other people, including users of ATI's EyeFinity. Anyhow, since these panels seem to have fixed the issue for everyone who's tried them so far, I've decided to make them publicly available. They are up now on the AVSim Library, the filename is fsx-triplewide-panels_defaultac.zip.Before installing these fixes, be sure to back up your panel.cfg files for each default FSX aircraft, as well as MiniPanel.cfg from the Gauges folder. Once you've backed those files up (so you have them to fall back to in case you encounter any problems), you can just copy over the ones from the .zip file (just follow the instructions included in the readme file), overwriting the existing files. These updated panels are for Triple-wide screen users ONLY! You should be running a Triplehead2Go or ATI EyeFinity with three monitors for these panels to display correctly. If you are running a single display, you should not use these panel files.I hope these are useful and helpful to other triple-wide users. :)Enjoy,-George

Update:Updated triple-wide panels are now also available for the Lionheart Creations Quest Kodiak and Whittman Tailwind (in separate downloads) for users of those aircraft.
