Carenado Cessna Centurion II Released

Featured Replies

Just browsing the Carenado website, and they have just released their latest plane, the Cessna 210M Centurion II. http://www.carenado.com/CheersMalcolm

Wow, the screenshots seem absolutely stunning- these guys have always done the most incredible work in terms of looking at planes from outside the cockpit, but I've frankly been disappointed with their VC's, stock sounds and minimal documentation in the past. Seems like they've cranked it up a notch in all repects with this centurion- anyone try this plane out yet? I'm seriously tempted.Best,Joel

The screenshots look fantastic, but I was quite disappointed by their last release, the Piper Dakota. The virtual cockipt, which for me is the most important part of any quality GA plane, was so raw and pixellated that I could not bring myself to fly it more than two or three times. This one looks so much better, but it's only a small screenshot ...Please, if anybody already has it, post some screenshots and comment on this plane, it looks very interesting.VOlker :]

That does look tempting. I have never bought a Carenado product, but judging from their freeware releases, they do very good external models, but are lacking in the flight model department. They don't seem to eager to show off their stuff either, very few screen shots and small ones at that. I'll wait for some reviews.
