FSX acting weird after FS9 installation

Featured Replies

Hello all!I recently built a new system and installed FSX and some addons (PMDG 747, MD-11, LevelD 767). Despite some low fps, everything worked fine. Then a few days ago I installed FS9 and some addons. I just tested the PMDG 747 in FSX and it loaded with no ND and PFD. I was able to turn them off after aligning the IRS, but this has never happened before since I always load the plane ready for takeoff. On another instance, the PMDG 747 was placed on the runway but the runway wasn't there. Has anybody experienced the above before? Thanks in advance and Merry Xmas!

Dimly I think I recollect that while you can install FSX after FS9, doing so the other way round can cause problems. Best bet is a quick repair installation of FSX, and it should NOT require reinstalling the complex addons.
