Gauges update rate in FS9

Featured Replies

My problem with the FS9 version of the MD11 is that the gauges` update rate is rather lower than with the PMDG queen. Maybe the same as with the "old" 737NG. I got them all from PMDG, all for FS9 but the slider that should allow to alter the update rate (I only use the VC-panel) has no effect. A fresh new reinstall didn`t help either. Please don`t tell me now that the update rate is as limited as it appears actually.

I've always had the same problem, I don't think the slider works in the VC (FS9) I have a powerful setup with all sliders maxed.

So why did they make such a big step-back? In fact, this (really) stuttering animation is the reason why I still prefer the Queen, even though I would be very interested in the MD-11. With <15 FPS of the gauges it is too uncomfortable for my eyes. And 2D is not an alternative for a TrackIR-user.
