Quick Question on Mip Mapping inside FS9.1

Hi Gang.Just a quickie if I may.What do you guy's have you're mip mapping set to inside FS's Hardware menu.Mine is at 4. What happens if you go lower, and the same for if you go higher.I think the highest is 8 isn't it?Thanks for any info.

Best you test it for yourself. What happens, depends greatly on AF settings, you might get very bad shimmering or it might be OK. You get more lower res mipmaps in the distance, and the one near the aircraft tend to shimmer. I have mine at 8, since my AF is at maximum, which works OK. 8 is the highest.But as I said, try yourself.
