Caranado 210 / Internal Window Reflections Comment

Featured Replies

Just wanted to make a positive comment about the new Carenado 210. While I have mentioned in another post the issue I have with the height of the panel and eyepoints, one thing these guys do beautifully is the inclusion of tinted windows and reflections seen from inside the VC. It really enhances the feeling of being inside the cockpit, and the "glassless" windows of other aircraft really pale in comparison. Something I think other developers should try in their designs. Anyone else like this effect?Best,Joel

I agree COMPLETELY!There is nothing I dislike more then a beautifully rendered aircraft and then NO glass effects.IMO, it totally ruins the realism. I won't fly the new Aerodesigns Airbus because it doesn't have any "glass effects" for the cockpit windows. Not including the "glass effect" makes it look like the pilots are sitting out in the open which just doesn't seem right. Which is too bad because I love thier new Airbus model....but the glass thing just kills it for me. :(It seems kind of wierd to spend a ton of time on an aircraft and then not add in something as simple as reflective cockpit glass (nobody or group inparticular).

Yup, count me in on that one! The glass effects are stunning and really add to the atmosphere.Glenn

Bloody gorgeous, those window effects!Jaap Verduijn.

I have Carenado's Archer II and one of the things I really like about it is the glass effect of the VC. It does add to the realism some. It seems like you are sitting inside a cockpit with glass windows rather than big empty holes. It is one effect I wish more developers would include in their aircraft.Rob

During my last flight with the 210 I suddenly realized that the glareshield in the VC reflected the sun dynamically. Looks absolutely fantastic!!!You know what? I LOVE THIS PLANE! (um, don't tell my girl friend ;))VOlker :]
