Autobrake issues

Recommended Posts

Guest ClearedDirect

Quick question - I did a search and looks like I am the only one having this issue, so I am sure it is something that I am doing wrong.Autobrake selection works fine pre-takeoff in RTO mode but will not arm on approach nor will it function. The yellow caution (not master caution, the one above the selector switch) stays illuminated and the autobrakes do not engage upon landing. Any suggestions?Autobrake works on all settings with other aircraft - just not my 737's.Thanks for any help.Gene Levulis

That yellow indication above the selector knob means that the autobraking is disabled, usually due to brakes being applied. Maybe in your case there is noise from your game controller?

Recalibrated rudder pedal toe brakes. Can now set autobrakes on approach and they activate, but do not deactivate when manual brakes applied.I'll take it!!Thanks for the help.Gene
