If you want to enjoy stunningly sharp terrain textures, manualy edit the LOD Radius in the FSX.cfg from 4.500000 to 6.5xxxxxx. 7.5 on up to extreme 9.5 (only change just the first two digits) then save. but just a warning, if you go all the way to 9.5 you may CTDT after a while depending on how extreme you go and what scenery you are running as FSX will just swallow up memory.FPS will go down a lot if on LandClass, however on Photoreal not so much, but the visuals are breathtaking. I have been flying this way since FS2K and cant go back to blurry default....need a 6Ghz CPU real bad. BTW if you do any adjusting in FSX of the display settings, it will revert back to 4.500000 or what ever you have the slider set at.

After looking at the CFG guide I posted a link to, it looks like you can go up to 9.9900000.
