Does ACTIVESKY ADVANCED have an off-line mode.

Good day Hi-Fi simmers.I am in the process of evaluating, converting from FS9 to FSX.So I have been using AS6.5 for some years, and flying is'nt the same without it. However, as I only fly off-line, I wanted to ask if ACTIVESKY ADVANCED has an off-line mode, like AS3.5 does??I have collected over 6GB of metar files, from your servers and use that to generate the weather. Thanks in advance.Golli

Hi,Thanks for your interest in ASA!Yes ASA does have an Off-line mode. I am honestly not sure though if you could use your ASv6.5 downloads. You might need to re-download the weather files.

No, thank you for making these fantastic weather engines. But does anyone know/remember the file extensions ASA uses for the metar files???Thanks in advance.Golli.

Hi,Saved weather file extensions are not the same: .wx for ASA and .dat for ASv6.5 so ASA is not going to recognize the older file format.
