January 19, 201016 yr Hello guys n galsOver a period of time, as i've added more and more payware addons i've noticed this issue getting worse....My sounds in FSX don't exactly 'pop', like other descriptions i've seen here, but rather, very briefly keep cutting out. Just for milliseconds at a time, maybe every other second or so. It's MUCH more noticable in outside 'spot' view, and increases if I pan around. It seems to coincide with the HDD light, so presumeably is due to to HDD access? Is there any way I could fix or improve this without breaking the bank on an SSD? There appear to be no Creative drivers for my sound card other than those supplied in Windows7My specs are in my sig. Thanks for help Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Supposedly this corrects a hardware/device detection issue with Windows 7. I installed it and got an updated driver for my SB X-Fi. That might help. You may also have a loose connection somewhere in the setup of your speakers, SB card, etc. I suspect you have made sure all connections are tight and properly connected. I doubt it has any association with your HHD.Best regards,Jim
