well folks i must tell you dealing with ASA is a big pain, im running a netwoked set up, and i believe i have done all that i can do to just run it on another computer.did all that was to be asked from mapping , and moving files here and there.and like last time i did that i got the same results , it screwed up both computers now.now my server is now saying that FSX is not registered, and it tries to load as if it is the first time running FSX.and on the client it says that sp1 , is not loaded, and that it is looking nfor the fsx file again, after i mapped it to it.i know my system is working correctly and is mapped correctly, in fact radar contact and flightsim commander are working flawlessly.i feel your ASA is a way to complicated as getting it to work right.it has now corrupted the main FSX folder now.i may have to completly reload the entire FSX, add ons, and tons of hours of set up.and that means i will dump ASA forever.your product is not right for me because it makes me pull out my hair and im bald.im sorry to complain , but i need to be flying istead of tring to get this program thats got way to many whisltle and bells to work.i went through this last time and it aint worth it........................................Robert

Using two computers with Windows Vista, ASA connected between them like a charm. Now, using one of the computers with Windows 7, I finally gave up trying to get the Windows 7 computer to let the other computer access Application Data and Program Files.

Hi,1. ASA needs Simconnect on the client. That is why you install the SDK, SDK 1A, and SDK 2 on the client, in order to install SimConnect on the client computer.2. We don't touch FSX at all and don't do anything to the registration. The same is true even if you installed ASA on the same computer as FSX. ASA runs completely outside of FSX.3. If you run the AI Traffic Utility from the client with FSX running on server does it connect and show AI Traffic? If not, that means that SimConnect is not installed and/or configured correctly on the client/server.4. If you have purchased ASA in the last 30 days from our store I will happily issue you a refund if you send me your purchase information: jim(AT)hifisim.com
