January 26, 201016 yr Dear Aircraft Engineers. I wonder if any one can help with this strange problem. Too frequently I'm finding that when I come to start the engines all I can achieve is Jump Seat Operation. No matter which button I click on the overhead panel all I get is - jump seat up or down. What can this mean I wonder? It seems very odd in such a high quality aeroplane.Thank you for a brilliant simulation, Bruce Bailey. FSX, Windows 7 x 64
January 27, 201016 yr Can you post a screenshot please because what I think you are saying doesn't make sense. I think you are saying that mouse clicks on the overhead panel are activating the jumpseat instead of the intended switch? Do I have that right? If that is the case, is it only the overhead or does it happen else where in the cockpit? If it is only the overhead, then I have no idea what is wrong, but if it happens everywhere, then is it possible that your mouse buttons have been reprogrammed? If you have this problem outside FS, then check the mouse setting on your control panel. If it is just in FS does it affect default aircraft? Then check FS settings (or FSUIPC if you use it). If it is other PMDG aircraft then check the PMDG settings? Still no joy? Try a different mouse. Let us know how you get on. Paul Smith.
January 27, 201016 yr Hi Paul, This problem is only occuring with the JS41 and only on the overhead panel not elsewhere in the cockpit. Also the problem is intermittant but several times now I've had to abandon a flight at the point of engine start when the problem arose. I will definately check the FSUIP point. Anyway - I'll work through your suggestions and let you know how I get on.Many thanks and Bfn, Bruce

Must say I would never have considered that. Well - it's back to studying the JS41 now.....Bfn and thanks, Bruce, Hampshire, UK :(
