No AI Traffic at Departure

Featured Replies

Hi, folks. I've been really enjoying VoxATC. I love how well it works for me, overall, especially since I sprung for some good Cepstral voices. However, I have noticed that there is no AI traffic parked at the gates at my departure airport (usually, KBTV - Burlington, VT). I do see traffic inbound to land, but nothing at the gates. I turned up the VoxATC traffic setting to 90% (that's fun) in hopes that would help...no luck (yes, the FSX stock traffic is set to zero in the config file I use with VoxATC). I also just added MyTraffic 5.2 Pro to my setup (love it so far), but this was happening even before that add-on. Ideas? Okay, thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hi, again. Uh, oh. Is this a case of RTM (read the manual)? Can someone give me some advice on this one? Again, wondering why there's no traffic at the gates when I enable VoxATC in FSX. Thanks in advance.

Hi,A few questions to get things clear; is this happening only at KBTV - Burlington or also at other airports? Did you try running the indexer again? This problem also occurs with MyTraffic 5.2 Pro installed? Did you try decreasing the VoxATC traffic density to see if that makes any difference (less load on processor)? Which version of VoxATC are you running?Lion

Hi, Lion. I'm sorry not to get back to you sooner. Okay, here's what I know. I ran the indexer again and, presto, traffic everywhere. However, he's a new problem. I just started noticing that my taxiways and my terminals don't seem to be in the right places anymore (at Montreal specifically). I think this is related to MyTraffic Pro 5.2B since I didn't have this problem before with just the stock FSX AI traffic. I do have some of the Jim Cook airports installed, but not one for Montreal. And, I did move MT Pro scenery down on the scenery list (below FTX and UTX). I'd be grateful for any advice on this one when you can (I can also start a separate thread for this one). Okay, thanks. Oh, sorry, VoxATC version 5.63.

My Traffic has its own set of AFCADs, try finding your airport with this problem among these AFCADs and move the file elsewhere, then reindex VoxATC. This helps sometimes.
