February 1, 201016 yr Many, many eons ago in Internet time, there used to be a webpage with a recording and animation of an inexperienced pilot who is trying to fly into a very busy general aviation field. The poor guy makes all kinds of mistakes, he cannot find the right runway, then he goes downwind on the wrong runway, ATC goes ahead and clears him, and then once he's down he gets lost on the ground too. There was animation to show the radar scope and then animation to show what happened on the ground. The last time I looked this page up was many years ago, way before the days of Youtube or streaming video. I'm thinking like 2001-2002.Anyone remember what the URL was? I think the airport was DuPage but it might have been Van Nuys.--- editThink I found it, it was indeed DuPage KDPA. It was a student pilot who was unfamiliar with the airport and got disoriented. The webpage was www.cyberair.com but it's gone now.
