Everything that FSX has to access during flying should be put on that Velo.
February 6, 201016 yr Author Thanks for that. I'll put TrackIR on the other drive. As far as putting GEX on a different drive, I did that because I found a comment pertaining to that as follows.Other programs are NOT accessed "real time" while FSX is running. Examples are GEX and FEX. They replace textures in FSX from an external interface you run PRIOR to running FSX. There is no reason whatsoever to have to install GEX or FEX on the same drive as FSX. They could be installed on an external hard drive, the interface run to replace the FSX textures, then FSX runs without accesssing anything in the GEX or FEX installations during your FSX session. What do you think? i7-950 4.2GHz, ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, Mushkin 6GB, ATI 5870, Noctua NH D14, Windows 7-64

That's okay as long as the texture are placed on the Velo, which they apperently are. (BTW You know you do not have to run GEX (or FEX) everytime before starting FSX?)
