February 9, 201016 yr Hi I've been wondering if anyone knows how to take an airplane from X-plane, and use that model in a 3D software to create controlled 3D animations with it. Anyone have any ideas ?
February 9, 201016 yr Open that plane in planemaker and somewhere in the menu options (can't remember where) is the option to export the aircraft in native "obj" format. Then you import that into either Blender or AC3D. From there you can do whatever you like with it.
February 11, 201016 yr If you have AC3D and install it's X-Plane plugin, you'll be able to import objects, create, export, etc.jimb dual boot: win8.1pro64bit (primary) | win10pro64bit | mobo: MSI Prestige x570 Creation | cpu and cooler: AMD 5950X; Noctua NH-U12A | ram: 4each 8gb sticks of ddr4-3200 CORSAIR Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 | gpu: nvidia RTX2070Super Founders Edition| lcd: LG 24" 4k, LG 24UD58-B
