777 Go-around procedure

Recommended Posts

Anyone know the proper go-around procedure for the 777. It's something like:TOGA switchGear upFlaps 20I usually punch my go-around procedure into the FMC, along with the hold point. So at what point should I re-engage LNAV and VNAV. What's the correct way to get back into managed speed mode? Thanks,- daniel

Hey Daniel,Correct procedure. Pitch/Roll cannot/should not be engaged below 400ft AGL.If on autopilot approach, leave autopilot engaged. One thing to note also, make sure also that Thrust Limit has been changed in the FMC page beforehand also.In the real plane pushing TOGA at average weights give a thrust less than the maximum thrust. Shud maximum thrust be required, pushing TOGA a second time will provide it.G
