Scenery periodically reloading during flights

I have recently been experiencing scenery reloading during flights. It happens fairly quickly varying from 2 to about 15 seconds. I believe that it has started happening after I added Radar Contact. I have two gig of memory. Could this be a memory issue that might be solved by uping the memory to four gig, which is the maximum that my system can handle. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Every now and then this problem shows up here in the forums. Often this problem is caused by enable a setting in FSUIPC to keep FSX time synched with Windows time. When FSUIPC changes the FS time it may result in a reload of the flight in the same way as when you manually change the time in FSX.I don't use Radar Contact, but if you have an option in RC to keep FSX time synched with Windows time, you might try to disable that option.Hope this helps :(

Time sync'ing can also cause flocks of AI to overwhelm your airspace as well. Sync'ing time is not recommended becuase of these types of hiccups.
