My experience using FSMETEO 5.1 and FS2004 is that the panel continously "blinks" every few seconds, which is annoying. Any other people with same issue?Regards, Marcelo. Santiago, ChilePosted on Tuesday July 29th, 11.40pm EDT

Having no problem at all with fsmeteo 5.2. Are you just useing fsmeteo, or are you also implementing the weather display (1.4)? Which window are you talking about, the fsmeteo window where you download the weather, or the weather display, which is an addon panel for your aircraft? My weather display is a blank window in FS2004..Thanks:RTH

Just using FSMETEO 5.1, without the weather display. The aircraft panel is the one that does not stop blinking. As soon as I quit using FSMETEO, the blinking stops. Weird. Marcelo Santiago, ChilePosted on Wednesday July 30, 8:45am EDT

It's nearly a year after this last post but I'm using FSMeteo 6.4 and experience the same blinking on the aircraft panel. Dick Curtis

Interesting?I also have upgraded to 6.4 and still am having no problem. With the weather display added to the panel and left there, I do get a slight FPS drop, but do not leave that display showing all of the time anyway, so this is somewhat academic. I use a shortcut Icon in my panel to access it at will. I do see the effects of the updates every few minutes as cloud formations come and go, but nothing as rapidly as the blinking described. Wish I could help, for I think it is a great addon. Have you tried the fsmeteo site? I don't know whether they have a specific forum or help link or not.Good luck:RTH

Isn't it "panel as texture"?Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgwww.BAVirtual.co.uk[p]Officially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[/p]

"Isn't it "panel as texture"?"Nope. Render to Texture is correct. It's on the "Hardware" page of the Display settings.Greg

rightey-oh. I've fiddled with so many things I can't remember what's what anymore :-)Cheers,Paulhttp://www.strontiumdog.plus.com/sbird.jpgwww.BAVirtual.co.uk[p]Officially licenced by British Airways plc for use of name and logo[/p]

I'm using the latest FSMETEO and I still get the blinking he's talking about. It occurs right after FSMETEO activates the weather.I also get stutters as it sets the global weather. It may or may not have to do with my system because I don't have that problem if I use the internal FS9 real-world weather.
