Is the green update message supposed to be only shown the first time ASE connects to FSX? or should it also be comming across the screen when it updates. Im using it across a network but Im still finding that it is not updating along the way. For example I took off from cyhz today and landed at cyyz, the wind and altimeter at cyyz were not correct, instead in was showing the same conditions as when I departed cyhz. And no matter how many times I hit the refresh button it would not display the correct wind and baro, but if I shut down fsx and ase and restarted it will load the weather fine, Im at the point now where Im just about ready to give up on this program.

And Im doing another flight right now Im at 37000ft winds have been at zero pretty much the whole way, I just installed it on my FSX machine makes no difference. Question for Jim, can I install ASA then the upgrade for ASE, I just went for the full install of ASE having never owned ASA before. I have to try something nothing works for me with ASE.EDITOne more thing to add, Im using FSX deluxe but Im using SP2 SDK Im not using the fsx sdk sp1a is this a problem?????????

Hi,You need to install SDK1, 1a, and 2.Yes, your key is valid for both ASA and ASE.The green message is only once, on initial load.I am also going to suggest that you install ASE on your FS computer for now, just to eliminate all the networking things that could be happening.

That the way it was done the original from the disk, 1a, then 2 I did install ASE on my fsx computer but the same results, the weather just simply does not update, once the initial weather is loaded no matter where I fly, the destination weather is the exact weather I get where ever I land. For example I departed CYHZ today, wind 325 18 knts altim 29.65, I landed at CYYZ the weather in ASE was showing wind 270 10 knts alt 30.22 but!!! in FSX it was still winds 325 18 knts alt 29.65 my destination is always the same as my departure. Even if I load up a random airport start ASE it will do the initial install then I can switch to any airport in the world press the weather refresh button and the weather in fsx will just not change, over a network or not.
