Need help curving colored stripes using Gimp 2.6

Featured Replies

I'm currently doing a paint job of the FSX Captain Sim 727-200 in Eastern Airlines livery. I'm using Gimp 2.6 as the paint program. I'm having trouble drawing the 2-colored stripe where it curves up into the tail underneath the tail at the rear end of the fuselage. Is there a way I can get the width of the 2 colors of the stripe symetric throughout the curve other than trying my best using the pen tool and doing it by eye? What I want to do is curve the 2-colored stripe after the stripe has been painted.

Using the pen-tool you can make a line wider than 1 pixel.Just set the tool to the disired width and make the curve,.Then make the second one in the other color the same way on another layer.Leen
