March 8, 201016 yr Following the tutorial(nr 1) you have to open PMDG's loadmanager. After closing the manager, I click the FSX icon on the taskbar for FSX to come back fullscreen. No response the only way is to open taskmanager and activate FSX.Also accasionally in the simulation fulscreen FSX goes to the taskbar and I have to use taskmanager to solve the problem.Anyone recognizes this problem? The installation of FSX and the PMDG- M11 is done following PMDG's manual.Regards,Peter Koning
March 8, 201016 yr Hi Peter, Normally when FSX minimizes to the task bar it is because something else is taking windows focus. If you have any virus scanners or windows updates set to auto it can do this. It only happens to be when I get a call, since I use Magicjack, but in that case I can more easily see who the culprit is since then the MJ GUI is on my desktop.Java, might also do it as well as Adobe acrobat updater. If it takes a few seconds to minimize you might be missing what is causing it. If it happens all the time I would recommend running in windowed mode with task manager open and few the processes and see if you can find it that way. It will either be a new process starting or an existing one all of a sudden spike the CPU usage. As for having to use task manager to go back to FSX after minimized. That is a windows/FSX issue according to NVIDIA, and a problem we all share.Hope this helps, i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
